FAQ ABOUT THE INTERACTIVE, DYNAMIC, DIGITAL PLATFORM
FAQ #1 - Who is the Symposium for? Should I attend if I don't want to work on Broadway? The Symposium is for EVERYONE no matter your experience level, age, or goals. All stage managers or anyone interested in stage management is welcome. Broadway's stage managers and profesionals share their experience & expertise which is applicable for all stage managers. Symposium attendees from high school students to educators have all had a wonderful, rich, and elightening experience.
FAQ #2 - How do I watch if I'm not there live? What if I miss a session? A replay link will be sent to all attendees withing two days following the closing of the Symposium and will be available until the end of June, so you can watch when you are available, based on your personal schedule. If for some reason you are not able to watch during that month, please contact us and we will make arrangements.
FAQ #3 - What if I need help or have difficulty getting online? A dedicated technician will be available to help via email, text, and phone during the entire Symposium to help troubleshoot. And if you miss anything, you will receive the full replay of all sessions after the Symposium. (see FAQ #2)
FAQ #4 - Can I switch between the live Symposium & Online? If NYC is open enough, we will plan meets up and other live gathers that comply with the current local regulations. No additional payments required. In a "normal" year you could switch from the online webinar and live anytime.
FAQ #5 - What type of interactions with speakers and attendees can I expect? Most panelists are available in breakout social rooms following their session to chat informally with attendees. There is a conference chat for everyone to engage in, as well as personal chat & session chat. Attendees can invite anyone on the platform to a one on one, face to face meeting. There is also a special speed networking function to click to randomly meet someone. There are social gatherings like the post show wrap party or show watch parties and plenty of time on breaks to interact with others on the platform. So many ways to connect.
FAQ #6 - How do I sign up? Click the button above for the option you want to register for and you will be taken through the registration process. After payment is received, you will be emailed a confirmation that includes a link to a short form to get all your pertinent info.
FAX #7 - Are there student and group discounts? YES - email us to set up your student rate or group discount at firstname.lastname@example.org
FAQ #8 - What if I am having a financial hardship? We can set up a custom payment plan that can work with any budget. Contact us at email@example.com and we will work with you.
If you need to cancel for any reason up to 4 weeks prior to the Symposium, you can receive a full refund or switch to the online webinar version. If you need to cancel during the last 4 weeks, you can receive a refund, minus $50. This amount can be applied to the Symposium next year, so you really have nothing to lose.
